Ana Ivanovic was inspired to play tennis by watching the great Monica Seles on television.
After picking up her first racquet as a five-year-old, she quickly developed her aggressive style of play and reached the Wimbledon junior final in 2004.
She won five straight ITF tournaments later that year and made her Grand Slam debut in US Open.
Since turning pro in 2003, Ana has won a string of WTA titles, and reached the final of the 2007 French Open. She continued this trend by making it into the finals at the Australian Open the following year, and celebrated her first Grand Slam win at the 2008 Roland Garros.
In 2014, Ana made a triumphant return to the top 5, and won her milestone 15th title at the Toray Pan Pacific Open.
